Maybe not one of the best, but one of the loudest gyms
If you ever want to see your ears bleed, make it to a pivotal playoff game for volleyball or basketball in the McAuley gym. There is a level of volume almost no other school can achieve. With over 1,700 students in the all-girls high school, the pitch that is created is unmatched.
Will coaches, players, and fans say it’s one best high school gyms in the state, probably not. Between the noise and the championship banners lining both sides of the gym, it for sure is one of the most intimidating and one opponent you want to have a higher seed than come playoff time.
